How to Make Skin Glow

Bad skin can leave a very bad impression on others and especially when it comes to women, it is essential to have a smooth, subtle and radiant skin. Skin glow could be natural but in case you do not have it then you must start taking care of it. Here are some tips of how you can actually take care of your skin easily.

Home remedies are excellent and they work on everybody. A 20 minutes papaya treatment can be tried out in which you just have to rub your face with papaya piece for two minutes and then wait for 20 minutes to wash it off. It gives an instant glow. For better results, take steam first and then do it. This exfoliates the skin. You can also apply the mixture of milk and gram flour or simply rub banana piece on your face and after it gets dried up, wash off with cold water.

Night care skin regimen is very essential and in fact, without it skin care is never complete. Make sure that you have a cleaner, toner, moisturizer and serums with you. First clean your face with a cleanser and then apply which ever serum (under eye cream, acne control, etc) required on your face and massage it followed by the application of moisturizer. You must also use scrub on the body and scrub it at least once in a week so as to give it complete exfoliation. Apply face pack after it. Body bleaching gives your skin a lighter shade of complexion so you can do that as well.

You must take care of your skin by getting regular body spa and manicure, pedicure plus facials. This keeps your whole body’s skin shining. Drink loads of water and have a good diet plan so as to keep the skin naturally glowing. Also exercising is a must as it allows you skin to breathe from within and this is how your skin pores stay closed. Wash your face with a face wash twice in a day so as to keep it clean and maintain a healthy life.

If you have never tried oxygen facials now is the time to do so. Most celebrities including Madonna and Heather Locklear swear by its amazing results.

If you have started witnessing the visible signs of ageing like the appearance of fine line, wrinkles and age spots or have been experiencing stress which has made your skin look dull and lackluster, you need to go in for an oxygen facial .Most day spas offer oxygen facials which leave your skin feeling fresh and rejuvenated.

So what exactly is the oxygen facial? The oxygen facial is a skincare treatment wherein a machine blasts a stream of highly pressurized oxygen which contains moisturizers that are packed with minerals, vitamins and collagen deep into the skin layers. This treatment creates amazing but instant results whereby the skin looks smother, younger, fresher and plumper. In short it is the equivalent of getting a two week break at an expensive Swiss chalet.

Oxygen facials are normally performed at spas under the supervision of a trained esthetician. In this treatment procedure, pressurized oxygen is blasted on the skin. However the oxygen which is used for this treatment includes serums which have been infused with vital skin ingredients like Vitamin C, skin essential minerals and vitamins and collagen which is absorbed by the skin through the pores.

Before starting on the oxygen facial, your esthetician will cleanse, exfoliate and steam the skin to remove the dirt and oil which clogs up the pores and to open it up. Next the therapist uses a nozzle which delivers the moisturizers infused pressurized oxygen directly onto the skin. Then the esthetician performs a face and neck massage to drive this nutrient laden serum deeper into the skin. Finally the skin is toned and moisturized and a sunscreen is applied.

A non surgical treatment, oxygen facials can even be performed on acne scarred skin. Oxygen facials are normally done to soften and re-hydrate the skin and restore the elasticity of the skin. Each day we experience various environmental and chemical pollutants which destroy the natural beauty of the skin.

Oxygen facials help to reduce the grayness of the skin, treats skin conditions like rosacae, reduces the appearance of fine lines, hyper pigmentation and shrinks enlarged facial pores. An oxygen facial will leave your skin feeling dewy fresh.

Get Healthy Skin in 5 Easy Steps

If you have a healthy skin it is a sign of your overall health. Everybody wants to get healthy glowing skin but generally it is thought to be a very difficult process since there are a lot of threats to the skin in the form of ultraviolet rays of sunlight, pollution and malnutrition. If you want to keep your skin healthy, you also need to be careful about your cosmetics in addition to your diet.

Following are some of the easiest ways to take care of your skin:

Step 1: Detoxify your skin

Cleaning your skin enables you to take a step towards making it healthier and younger-looking. During the day we have to go out and work. In the process, the impurities find their way into our skin. These impurities have to be removed with the help of quality scrubs available in the market. Alternatively you can prepare lemon scrubs at your home which are more effective since they are fresh and natural.

Step 2: Moisturize daily

The water content of your skin needs to be maintained at a certain level. In order to avoid skin dryness, you have to use the moisturizers which are rich in natural compounds like cynergy TK, phytessence wakame and manuka honey. They help you attain the standard level of moisture inside your skin.

Step 3: Protect it from the sun

The ultra violet rays of sunlight badly damage the skin. The soft tissues lose their grip, making your skin sag. Wrinkles are also a result of continued exposure to sunlight. You cannot avoid working but you can use sun block. It is advised that you apply the sun block 30 minutes prior to going outdoors.

Step 4: Drink lots of water

Water is important for the skin as well. Research has proven that those who ensure increased water intake are less prone to skin infections and aging. You have the example of Chinese; they do not drink sodas. They hydrate their bodies only with water and it is evident from their glowing skin.

Step 5: Exercise for at least 30 minutes every morning

Physical exercise is another must if you want to prevent your skin from aging. It ensures a ready supply of blood to all organs and triggers the absorption of oxygen.

How To Improve The Glow of Your Skin

A glowing skin depicts the health of a person. We mostly take our skin for granted and place an emphasis on using artificial cosmetics and methods under the mistaken belief that we are caring for our skin.

The health of skin is misunderstood. Contrary to general perception, a fair complexion is not the evidence of a healthy skin. Rather it is just the natural color of the superficial skin. In order to judge the health of skin, we need to look a little deeper and try to remove the causes of the negative effects on its health.

Include lemon juice in your skin care regimen:

Lemon is a natural cleanser which gets into the pores of your skin, making it look fresh. It is also used as an antiseptic. So the germs inside your skin can be repelled with the help of lemon juice. You can use lemon in many forms. You can make lemon masks for your face or take a bath to which lemon is added.

It will refresh your skin and help it retain its natural glow. Lemon scrubs are a widely used technique to cleanse your skin. All the impurities are removed with the help of the scrub, leaving behind a clean soft skin.

Keep your skin hydrated after washing:

An adequate amount of water in your body is necessary to keep your skin alive. It nourishes the internal layers of skin making it look younger. Moreover, the tightness of your skin can be retained by hydrating it regularly. The use of the correct skin moisturizer can also help with keeping the skin hydrated from the outside.

Exercise for 30 minutes in the morning:

A regular walk or run will bring an unbelievable change in your skin. It will keep you active. The circulation of blood will ensure the natural beauty of your skin and you will look younger than your actual age.

Have a rejuvenating sleep:

After spending a hectic day at your workplace, all your muscles need rest. Medical research has shown that an average person should sleep for a minimum of 8 hours at a time.

It keeps your skin muscles relaxed and so your skin, the most exposed part of your body, retains its natural position by virtue of a minimum of eight hours of deep, uninterrupted sleep.
